GED Math Test Prep: Simplify the equation 3x + 7y - 2z + 3 - 6x - 5z +15
Simplify the following equation.
3x + 7y - 2z + 3 - 6x - 5z +15
Step 1: Using the associative property, rearrange the terms of the equation so that "like" terms are next to each other.
3x - 6x - 2z - 5z + 7y + 3 + 15
Step 2: Combine like terms.
-3x - 7z + 7y + 18
3x + 7y - 2z + 3 - 6x - 5z +15
